Since good planets are hard to find, we need to attend to the maintenance of the one good planet we have. Posts on this blog point to articles, essays, commentary, and interviews related to sustainability issues. Maintenance is required in, but not limited to, the following areas:
- food supply
- potable water
- housing
- transportation
- health care
- education
- agriculture
- oceans, lakes, rivers, wetlands
- forests
- the atmosphere
- biological diversity
- economic justice
- ecological economics
- human rights
In short, the biosphere and human social systems require maintenance.
